For identification of voters at Polling Station, the Voter shall present the EPIC or any of the following identification documents approved by the Commission



আপনি ভোট দেবেন? জানেন কি EPIC ছাড়াও এবছর আর কোন কোন পরিচিতি প্রমাণপত্র নিয়ে ভোট দেওয়া যাবে? 



ভোট দিয়ে ভোটের কার্ড থাকতেই হবে , না থাকলে ভোট দেওয়া যাবে না-এমন নয়। ভোটার কার্ড হারিয়ে গেলে বা সাথে না থাকলে অন্য প্রমাণপত্র দিয়েও দেওয়া যাবে ভোট। 

আজ নির্বাচন কমিশন ৫ রাজ্যে ভোটের দিনক্ষণ ঘোষণার সাথে সাথে জানিয়েছে এবছর কোন কোন পরিচিতিপত্র নিয়ে ভোট দিতে পারবে। ভোটার কার্ড বা EPIC বাদ দিয়ে আরও  মোট ১১ টি পরিচিতিপত্রের কথা জানিয়েছে। 

Identification of Voters at Polling Stations –

i. Aadhar Card,

ii. MNREGA Job Card,

iii. Passbooks with photograph issued by Bank/Post Office,

iv. Health Insurance Smart Card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labour,

v. Driving License,

vi. PAN Card,

vii. Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR,

viii. Indian Passport,

ix. Pension document with photograph,

x. Service Identity Cards with photograph issued to employees by Central/State Govt./PSUs/Public Limited Companies, and

xi. Official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs.
